But why rush when you could take things more slowly, and row your own little dinghy from your own private landing stage. In fact you could devote an entire day to this happy adventure. On the Broads time flows at the same leisurely pace as the river.

The relaxed pace of life at Sunset Haven draws guests back year after year. The cottage is just the right size for a small family or group of friends. And it makes a perfect base for exploring the region. However you spend your day – at the beach, fishing from a quiet backwater, or in nearby Norwich – you'll probably end it with a glass of wine and views of the setting sun glinting on the water.

Sunset Haven invites you to slip into the rhythm of Broads life. In this smart, modern cottage you have everything you need for a carefree break on the water's edge. The kitchen is practical and homely, while the adjoining lounge/dining room has all the space a family needs for lively games and quiet reading. For even more peace, climb the stairs to the first floor where there's a twin bedroom with river views and a single bedroom – or further still to the solitude of the master bedroom on the second floor. From here, the river views are even grander.

Absolutely no smoking anywhere inside the property – smoking outside on the decking is permitted
Well-behaved dogs (two maximum) welcome – additional charges apply
Weekly bookings start on a Friday or a Monday
